    The latest alpha of uTorrent decreases torrent usage when you browse the pages. But it's still better to deleted finished torrents as soon your out/in traffic ratio is over 1.

    Yes, but it depends on the configuration of other parameters you have in Utorrent, and also what Other peers you are connected to.
    One should patch TCP/IP and disable DHT, if you are using private trackers. Thats more than enough actually.

    That's a myth. Please do a Google search for "BitTorrent private flag" and read the material you get.

    Thats more than enough actually.
    Not really, you also need to set the right amount of maximum connections and limit your upload speed.
