Unless you're referring to someone elses post, i personally said that they recommended ati cards. They didn't actual make it optimized for radeons, but they made it with it in mind. Check a few interviews.
The real question is will it work on a 8MB 3DFX Voodoo 2? .
Actually I've just depressed myself. I used to have a Voodoo 2 when they were the mutts! I remember the first Unreal coming out and I'd run it in 3DFX and I thought graphics couldn't get much better. I paid £200 for it and now it's lying in a box of bits under my bed. Life is cruel :'(.

that article was speculation.if they were gonna bundle it they would have already said soemthing they already announced that there will be 3 versions availible they woudln't hold news that "offering" until they launch date.
