After a great match vs. Nadal, he'll face the greatest of them all.. Though he's beaten him this year, I still think the Federator will come out in order to try and crush Murray in the first couple of sets..

So, a 13th for Federer, or a first for Murray? Should be a fascinating match.. Tonight, 22:00GMT.

    go federer .

Haha i read prior to the murray v nadal game federer wanted to play nadal pfft anyone with half a brain could see through him and that he wanted to play an inexperienced murray in the final.

If federer does lose his aura will be all but gone and will join other mere mortals such as dropkick i mean roddick

"Mere mortals"? Roddick won 1 single grand slam title. Federer is on his way to his 13th. He's second on the all time list of grand slam winners, and is first in consecutive grand slam semi finals (18). Hardly a mere mortal in my books.

^lol i was kidding haha but his aura has been tarnished quite a bit and if he loses to murray people won't be as nervous when playing the guy.

I'm still a federer fan and hope he blitzes murray.

A tennis fanatic friend of mine told me that Murray attended the same tennis camp as Nadal in Spain and the two remain close friends.
He said that given the fact that Murray was very familiar with Nadal's game and that Nadal appears a little worn out,he wasn't surprised by the outcome.

He also says that against Federer it will likely be a much different story.

The title is misleading.. Apparently Greg Rusedsky got to the US Open final in 1997.. So it's only been 11 years since the last Brit in a major final..

Can' imagine who the last one to win it was though..

For women it was Virginia Wade in 1977 (Wimbledon). For men it was Fred Perry in 1936 (U.S. Open)

No imagination involved ... it's hardly secret information.
