Ok so I got my dedicated server from SeedHost.eu it seems great but... The "security policy" is set so high nothing can be downloaded and other programs can't download (like firefox). It's rediculous how the hell do I fix this? I never had Win2003 before so I'm pretty lost.
Also, I need to open ports for uTorrent. I tried what I do with my XP which is to type the local ip into firefox and log into the router but that doesn't work with SeedHost servers.
Please help.

Persona non grata
I assume you're using Microsoft sever 2003
Just ignore the initial security warnings .
Type in mozilla firefox into your ie searchbar and allow everything associated with it (you can always restrict access later if you want)
Download, install, use it for all other downloads and you're golden.
No experience with routers.Somebody else will have to help you with that I'm afraid.

routers used in datacenters are not like the ones people use at home... you have a dedicated ip so there is no port forwarding. if you're using win2003 though you probably have tcp/ip filtering on. that needs to be disabled.
