Disadvantages of HD over DVD

I do not know how many of you have noticed, but most of the HD movies (780p, 1080p) cut off part of the original size of the movie (I mean on the sides). I personally find that to be a disadvantage. Anyhow, I still found HD torrents for certain movies like: The Usual Suspects, Lord of the rings, Star wars... that do not have this problem, keeping the image size as the original... release groups who released the good HD torrents are hV and REVEiLLE... did anyone else noticed this problem and knows other release groups for the good versions?

Do you watch LOST? It's the numbers they had to input on the computer.

The P2P HD groups are pretty awesome, Eureka and CtrlHD are definitely two of the best. The sheer quality on a large HD screen is more than worth the large download size I've noticed no cropping whatsoever with these groups.
