Do you know what onboard lan it has???

I know asus is having problems with one of the new realtek ones
loading the wrong mac address causing it not to be able to connect

If possible try the one that came on the motherboard's driver disk...
Also try the one direct from manufacturer's website rather than nvidia's.

What a pain, you almost have to marry them to get support.
I don't know if the following links will work unless you register.

You can download the motherboard drivers here.
And the latest bios (V1.5) here.
And, just in case you need them, the realtek audio drivers here.
    .
