Bosworth Field and The Wars of the Roses, by A.L. Rowse.

Richard II to Richard III to Henry Tudor. Second reading, easier to understand when you know what happens.

Joan of Arc and the Princes in the Tower pop up too, but it's the mighty Welsh who win the day for Britain.

After enjoying the TV series I decided to give the books a go. So, I'm currently reading Outlander by Diana Gabaldon.

Just started... Stephen Baxter's "The Massacre of Mankind" (2017) - (Authorized H.G. Wells Estate Sequel to his Classic "The War of the Worlds")

    51QpXM5rAIL._SY346_.jpg

(Approximate tally for 2016 was about 200 books... SciFi, Horror, Fantasy (Check out ALL Joe Abercrombie's works.), Post Apocalyptic, Crime Thrillers and Adventure novels.)

(...and some folks just thought I passed away.)

EDIT: Mehh... book left me sadly un-massacred.

    Nick Cutter's "Little Heaven"

(Definitely Horror, so we see how it goes.)

EDIT: Not bad, not great... horror seems to have dried up lately.
