does your ISP throttle your torrent traffic, making it much slower than your advertised bandwidth? then yes.

ok, then it doesn't make much sense for me to rent one.

well it depends on the torrent site...

your rented server will download the torrent much faster than you can (but you need to wait for it to be completly done)

then you can ftp it to your home at your max dl speed, whereas in torrenting it home you might not be able to max your speed

If your using good private trackers and can maintain a good ratio easily then yes there isn't much point

We already know your opinion about seedboxes and about how you can seed without one.

We already got that, so stop trying to prove it even more.

Probably. Even though ISPs don't throttle, BT is not always maxing out your download, at least not mine. Plus if you download from non seedbox uploaders, after it completes, you can then download it via FTP faster, so even though it takes the same time to complete the torrent, grabbing it for use is quick and you don't have the client open at home for days and days.
