I have been using NOD forever now and it hasn't had any problems and my PC never had a virus or any other similiar problems.

The people who write the viruses know what anti-virus software is popular and write new viruses to hide from them.

Secondly, most virus software scans for known viruses. Meaning they'll all fail to find the new ones.

Just accept, your never 100% protected.

that's not true mate. NIS 2008/2009 is really gr8 ones. even kIS and Nod failed to find few viruses which NIS did. I m happy with NIS 2008

Is Nod32 free? I have used it before but it wasnt free, was a pain to install but worked like no other, really fast and very good.
