Thread: any antivirus and firewall will not reduce bittorrent speed

    I tried many firewall and anti virus have built in firewall
    my experience is every firewall reduce download speed
    bitdefender even block traffic of both IDM and utorrent
    despite disable its firewall option , download not even starting

    If it's blocking means then why don't you move that application into Trusted option. I use KIS 2009/NIS 2008. I havn't faced any problems.
    I've learned that it takes years to build up trust,
    and it only takes suspicion, not proof, to destroy it.

    why don't you use utorrent, it automatically integrate with your firewall and router

    Eset never seems to harm my speeds .

    I used Outpost and Comodo and it didn't harm my download/upload speed too.
    May be you just configure your firewalls wrong.
