OFFXP: "Error 25003: Microsoft Office Setup Cannot Continue Because the Installation Source Has Been Corrupted" Error Message When Installing Office XP

has anyone ever come across this before?

i had to format and reload winxp pro and now i cannot reinstall office or publisher and keep getting this error message half way through the install setup process.

i have gone to microsoft support page and did the (clean cd drive) (do a clean boot) etc.. and nothing works?

i cant believe i cant do a perfect install in windows safe mode?

i did have a hard time installing winxp and im wondering if some files didnt get installed somehow? my last resort is to reload winxp again and then try office again to see if the reload helped?

i pray to god someone can have a simple answer to this problem....

either post here or email me directly!
thanks for any help you can give!

if the case is cd is bad then just extract the info off of it and burn to a new one, you can use data retriever or isobuster
