Gilbert was cool. Utterly disgusting. There was nothing like that for kids before he came out. Very similar to the humour in a short-lived kids comic called Oink!!
Anyone remember that?

Uh yeah. So was the PJ's and Roughnecks.
Tell me is the Muppets a cartoon. No it isn't.
Is Teletubbies a cartoon. No it isn't.
Was Big Bird a cartoon character on Sesame St. No

Now there was a Fraggle Rock cartoon in 1987 which ran for 13 episodes.

Now THAT was a cartoon.

when i was in preschool i loved carebears and when i got older i liked bugs bunny and wiley coyote. Tweety was cute, when he spoke. like i thought i saw a puuuurty cat.

Just out of curiousity, but are all you guys into anime? cos i'm pretty sure that the reason i like it so much is all the cartoons i watched as a child.
If you haven't tried anime I'd definitely recommend it.
