I would have thought it to be implied, given that this was posted in the Newsgroups section.

Just incase you don't find a good NZB site for these older roms(I haven't came across one yet that has a good index of older roms), then I highly recommend using any of the direct download rom sites. Like CoolRom has Mame downloads.

So until you find an nzb site that is actually good for retro roms, then direct download sites are pretty much the best alternative in my opinion.
