    What's the best registry cleaner around? I've heard that RegCleaner 4.3 is quite good.

    does spy sweeper and adawar clean registrys also??

    Ad-aware scans the registry but I don't think it deletes any obsolete keys.

    I use Ad-aware but heard it's not that good. Most people recommend Spybot to me, but I find it not very user friendly.

    Wrong thread!! This was a question about "reg cleaners". Not spyware removers.


    @ Amarjit- jv16 power tools is very good. It will search the registry using the common program name or the .dll names or whatever you like.

    Regcleaner is good enough. If you prefer more features go for JVPowerTools although today it is shareware. Used to be Freeware.

    I used a program called Registry Mechanic and it works like a charm, it's shareware, but I'd be happy to give anyone the serial.

    i got that it was cool, sure could use that serial #
