There's a difference.

Even when you're young there are occasions 'it' doesn't work ... f.e. in my case 'it' doesn't work when having drunk to much.

But I get your point ... when aging things don't need a reason for not working anymore ... must be quite frustrating

I'm predicting that he'll pry bin Laden out of Pakistan within 6 months of taking office thus building up quite a bit of goodwill/political capital.
Cleaning up the rest of Bush's mess will take longer but he'll have eight years to try.
