Eh? Why not just use a regular version like Premium or Basic or Business etc...
It depends on what your needs are man. I don't use Vista cause it was garbage when I tried it but Premium seemed to have everything you would need. Business is more for domains and for business use really.

Its funny as I just saw a Windows Vista Nvidia Evolution edition today . I had to smile as someone took the time to upload and seed for some ungrateful fucks .
Made me smile as I love the effort that some uploaders go to . Least I could do is share 6/1 and let people decide for them selves .
I don't like Vista but have tried Vista Black 64 bit and would use that if XP Pro becomes unsupported .

I have a Toshiba XLi -SLi1 laptop .. It comes with 32 bit vista ..
2GB Ram
320gb HDD
Pentium core 2 duo
two 8600GT in SLi
The vista runs really slowly if i keep my lappy continously on like for days altoghter .. I do hibernate it in between but that dsnt help much .. So i am looking for some better mod OS on vista lines so that i still have my driver support

Oh ok that's better , can you not just upgrade the ram ? Say another 1 gb . I don't have a laptop so not sure about the battery issue . If interested there may be a better O/S like Black or Extreme to try .
Most of the tweaks you could do yourself so not sure what a performance gain you would see .

Just use a straight up copy of vista, and if your computer can't handle it, use XP or get a new computer.
