took me a while to get the joke, but it might be due to the amount of whiskey absorbed last night.
maybe if the last sentence was: "i promise i will use a condom" would make the joke more clear!
anyway, it's a nice one!

"I promise to use a condom" would be far too obvious and IMO not nearly as funny. I didn't come up with it BTW, just translated it into English and made it into a Little Johnny joke.
