    hi Guys,

This is my first time downloading software, I have a bit of experience with movies...

I downloaded WORD and if I double click on it I get this error...The app failed because MS09.DLL was not found.

I get this error with another version of WORD that I downloaded..The operating system is currently not configured to run this application.

    I have WINXP Pro...

    Thanks for any help!

I once tried to download a standalone application from the office group, no luck. I would suggest just downloading the full "office XP pro" that highly available on k-lite. I cannot find a hash for ya, but just get the one with a lot of sources and you should be good to go.

    That is what I use.

You can download the missing .dll from here http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/index.shtml

I think you would then place it in your windows directory or your windows system32 directory or the programs folder. Not to sure, worth a try.

Even with the .dll there may may be others things missing.
