It's a piss-take of the opening scene of Le Mépris, innit.

Oh sorry, I picked you up wrong.

When you said "I have a site" I thought you meant it was your site.
Don't worry, he is the only member there, they call it skizofrenia lol

She is quite the stylish tiger that lady.

I'll be watching one or two of those Godard flicks, if you say they're good Idol. You didn't like Trois coulers?

All that ideological bollshite aside, I must say the acting is absolutely stunning, on Irène Jacob as well as the old man's part. The setting is also idyllic, I love Geneva.

What's that site of yours? Private and that?

It has big floppy ears and hops around a lot.

And I never said I liked Godard.I take a pass on most French films as a rule except Luc Besson and Eric Rohmer stuff.
For me the French in general take themselves far too seriously to be entertaining.
Besides if I want pretension I'll stick to the masters Fellini and Bergman. At least they know how to tell a story.I weird incomprehensible story but a story nonetheless.

If I want art with a bit of earthiness to it Pedro Almodovar's my go to foreign type.

About Trois coulers perfectly OK movies.Probably even good but just too depressing for my taste.

Honestly I suggest giving up this bullshit and requesting The Three Stooges Meet Hercules.Curly Joe overacts terribly but Moe is fooking brilliant.
I think the eye poking is symbolic of Man's loss of innocence but I'm not sure.
    Could be a penis joke.

Oh, that one. Must go check if they haven't booted me from it yet! :/

Too much uni work! They'll have me out of all my places at this rate.

I'll try to find those cinematographic examples you lay out there.

It is, after all, common knowledge that you've spent the latter years of your life seated on a couch crunching crisps away while you watch the whole world's pictures on your telly (don't try to deny it, I know it all).
