I just fixed all my mp3's in time to find out I should upgrade to FLAC.
I'm a bit slow sometimes. But anyways, check out Picard if you haven't already used a musicbrainz program, it scans and creates an acoustic ID for the tracks, checks them against the server and corrects the tags.
I got rid of all my endless unknown artist unknown title tracks.

Update: Picard is nice, but Jaikos is better.
It is much more streamlined and faster for massive libraries, as well as having a ton more features but for just correcting the unknown artist unknown track and so on it's not that big of an issue, and picard does a fantastic job on accuracy.
I found Picard to be damn near 100% accurate, unlike the nightmare program Idealfilesorter, which is the only program I've ever run that actually flickers on the screen, and just massively fucks up any sort of organization. I ran that one first and though any hope of organizing my mp3's was gone.
