i have a couple of questions about winXP (Pro)

    1) is there anyway to have a folder of your choice appear in the "load file" screen in the part with the "desktop" and "my documents" tile???
    2) is there anyway to remove those annoying "sample music/pictures/video's" folders without them comming back????

    Storm,

Nor sure what you are describing in question 1.

I just deleted the "sample" stuff from My Pictures, Music, etc. and haven't seen them since.
    Yours keep coming back?
    How annoying.

If you have Tweak UI for XP (you can get it free from Microsoft here.
Once you get it installed, open it, and you'll see a Windows Explorer-like tree on the left. Expand the
Common Dialogs one, and click the Places Bar. Select the option on the right for a custom places bar, and then
define the five locations. If you want a folder not listed in the dropdown menu, just type in the path...

there's also a way to change with folder it opens to by default (as in your Picture it opened to My Documents),
but I don't remember how right now
