    Is absolutely awesome.

    However

    Negatives are :
    - the constant putting on and off of bindings are a killer.
Specifically when your bindings suck, and flick off constantly.

    - the waddle, when you have to walk up with board attached to one foot.

-crossing over ridges, sticking in the edge, killing your legs, pushing with your arms. In that way sking is easier.

All is forgiven in virgin snow.

I am sure it must be awesome, but for someone young.

Today i saw a guy who looked like a happy santa atleast over 70
and a lot of pappas ranging from 16 to 60.

You do not have to do what the kamikazes do, just enjoy the curves.

You are actually safer on snowboard when falling as you are legs are static unlike skiing where they are extremely prone to misdirection.

First days of learning are HELL to the head and ass.
Took me 3 days to sort of get it, without guru advice (regret).

    After that you just glide.

I agree with all of this. +snowboarding makes you look cool There are lost of negatives tho, like flat areas are a bitch to traverse on. Sometimes you just have to unstrap and walk (aka sucks). The bindings , you can buy the ones where you just stomp down on your board to buckle in. A lot easier than sitting down and strapping in.
