Thread: Speed Test said 4500 but i can only upload 600!

    the speed test showed that i can upload upto 4500 but i cant upload anyfaster than 580!
    is there something i am missing?

    4500mbits = 560mBYTES. 8 bits to a byte.

    Mbps is different from MBps. speedtest.net shows results in Mbps. I always wondered if there was an option in speedtest.net, to automatically show the results in MBps

    4500 kilobits = 562.5 kilobytes
    8 kbits = 1 kbytes

    yes there is an option for it.

    Click My Results / Speed Measure then choose what you want and save.
