Thanx ...I appreciate the help. I only will be using it for music burning..no games. Just something I am thinking of getting, Broken...my PC is over 2 years old...and my hard drive is almost dead. Looking to replace it at an inexpensive price...I will get a better system in the next year. Thanx again guys.

dude for 500 bucks Canadian I can buy far better systems than that. AND you get to choose component you want.

so if you can get greater bang for your buck why dont you buy the better one?

I got my system on ebay amd atholon xp 2200+ 512 DDR ram good motherboard, msi ti4200 128MB g4, cdburner, cdrom, extra hdd frame, cooling fans, 80Gb maxtor 7200rpm hdd for only 700 canadian dollars. I even got free keyboard optical mouse, speakers and a 17'' CRT.

so why not get the good stuff for the same price if you went to emachines and bought the crap?
