I just spent a couple of days downloading a large EXE file, only to discover that it runs only in a DOS window and generates "Program too big to fit in memory" when run on Windows 2000.

Is this some special kind of EXE file, is it corrupt, or do I need a special tool to open it ?

    Thanks !

it's probably a bogus file or the file extension is wrong

That is probably an .iso file. I got that message when back when i had no idea what an .iso file was. Try openig it with WinISO.

yep. It's either an .iso or .bin that's been changed for sorting purposes.
