I know several people who have OVH, both directly and through resellers. They aren't having the same issue. My guess is that this guy decided to take our money and run. Each server going down idividually is probably from him not having paid OVH.

Luckily I only missed out on the last couple days since my cycle was running out. Probably why he invoiced me earlier than usual.

Actually OVH.com or OVH.co.uk is their primary website.

Still doesn't change the fact that everyone else I know, 10-15 people, who are using OVH resellers and straight from OVH/Kimsufi (kimsufi is where he's reselling them from) aren't having any issues.

    subject Downtime

    Dear Joao Felipe Pinto,

Due to billing issue from the side of OVH, about 70 servers were shut down this weekend by them and they refuse to admit their mistake, after a long conversation with their staff all servers should be up by tomorrow afternoon, we are sorry for any inconveniance caused, and we are sorry for the unanswered tickets, we just didn't expect to handle that amount in the weekends and we are trieng our best to answer each of them now,

once all servers will be back online, each of our customers will get individual compensation for the downtime caused,

we are sorry for the inconveniance and we will do our best to prevent such issue in the future,

    Fahredin Issacov

    SEEDHOST CEO.

I got the same email about two hours ago. Great, this means that they will tell Paypal the exact same thing and we will probably never get a refund. I guess time will tell whether we actually get the servers back tomorrow or whether our money is gone and the people behind the site are just trying to buy time for themselves.

If it was just a billing mistake, the servers would be back up. He's trying to cover for messing up. No way I'm renewing, and am advising everyone I know to go elsewhere.

So am I. I just want my damn money back and not a credit from them towards service that I no longer want. People might not be so ticked off if there had been some kind of communication about what was going on. But to stay silent for a week or more while nothing is working is totally unacceptable. Which is sad because when my seedbox was up I got really decent speeds and was quite happy. I'm far from happy right now.

I got the same email but luckily I have not been using there server though so I can't comment on it. I switched to another provider earlier. Not that I would expect compensation of any kind. When I canceled my server previously, they mentioned they had no way of giving me a refund. So i did way with them in short order. It was a day after the server was oredered and the server had not even been setup yet.
