    Hey,
    I just installed rtorrent on my server (running with fedora 9).
    I used (in root) yum install rtorrent to install it and it works fine, except i want to change the port.
    where do i find the .rtorrent.rc file, so i can edit it?
    and does anyone have suggestions for configuring the .rtorrent.rc?

    thanks a lot!
    cheers,
    S

    Sorry to bring it to you, but even Google came up with a few posts on these forums about/where/how rtorrent.rc works so you might wanna try here but it usually resides in your home-folder or do a ls & grep combo on your fs.

    just add this line on your .rtorrent.rc

    port_range = from-to for example port_range = 6890-6999

    Just make a new file in your home directory and rename it to .rtorrent.rc
