Div Convert To Vcd Questions.

Converting Div movie files to VCD, it take forever doesnt it?

2nd question, do i need a DVD-R or just CD-R to watch it on DVD player..

what do you mean? you want to transfer dvd to vcd??
and what do you want to watch and where??

it will tell you if you can even play vcd/svcd/kvcd
if so let TMPGEnc do the converting(in my sig)
then let nero burn it as vcd/svcd
look into kvcd if your dvd can handle it
full movie on 1 disk
and no you only need a cdr to make a vcd
if you want to rip a dvd you need a dvd player on your pc

Sounds to me like he's just saying doesn't encoding a DIVX file to VCD take a long time and what type of cd he needs.

The Answers:

Yes, it does take a long time for me but it matter on your processor speed and ram
and u can just burn it on a regular cd-r. Just use DVD-R if u want more than one movie on a disc. But normally it will take u two discs to burn this a VCD to cd.

Another thing this is in th wrong section it should be in movieworld.

And to muchspl2 why do u advertise kvcd so much?

I would work for kvcd if it was a job but it's not I guess he's just trying to get people to learn a different way I don't even like the guide's in his sigs though they are not enough, not that I would need them anyway.
