    i am currently using NVidia Geforce2 Ti 64mb and with all these new games comming out soon my graphics card wont b able to support them so could anyone recommend a good value for money graphics card.

    also which is better ATI or Nvidia?

    is there any information i need to get about my pc before getting one to make sure it is compatable and it all works?

    It's a complete crapshoot, I'm afraid.

    When I built my new PC I could not get the drivers for my old Radeon 9000 Pro card to load properly.
    I finally gave up and gave it to my dad.
    Slid right into his machine like it was greased.

    A lot of stores ( like Comp USA, for instance) will install that sort of thing for free, or for a small charge.
    If you have doubts let them do it, then if there are problems they have to deal with it.
    I would say that chances are slim that you will have trouble, but believe me, if you do it can get extremely frustrating.
