    Question Mark

    Hi there!

    I'm looking for a new tracker that could fill my new needs. Until recently I've mostly downloaded xvids and tv-eps from torrentbytes and filelist, both of which I've been a member for 200+weeks. But now I've gotten myself a PS3 and a nice FullHD TV, so I seriously hunger for more HD material.

    Since recently a member of hd-torrents.org but, the speeds are terrible (both ul/dl) for me in comparison to the other trackers I've had. On hd-t I've maxed 900kB/s dl and 700kB/s ul on TB 7MB/s dl and 5MB/s ul so there is a huge difference. This is probably because of the high amount of American users.

    So the perfect tracker for me would:
    * Be private (of course)
    * Preferably Scene
    * Dedicated HD, or _high_ amount of HD (movies, tv, musicvideos)
    * High on european/swedish users (for the speed).
    * Some freeleech and/or packs (not necessary)
    * Not "impossible" to get in to.

    So if anyone was kind enough to read through it all, do you have a clue as to where I would find my next home, so that when time comes, I can start keeping an eye on the giveaway section?

    I would suggest SceneHD for you.

    It's a private tracker.
    They do only allow scenereleases.
    Their staff and most of their users are swedish, so the speed shouldn't be an issue.
    There are freeleech packs.
    And it is not impossible to get into.

    It's the perfect tracker for you.

    That sounds great! Thanks

    Even if they were not in the WTAW list, I found a "review" in the thread, would you say if it's representative of how it is today? (it's a one year old post)

    The site hasn't changed that much in a year, it's pretty much the same nowadays, except for some improvements.

    One of them I'm already a member of and it isn't doin great in my book (will probably drop it when/if I find a better one). The other seems new (quick google) but might be worth looking out for. Thanks!

    Thank you, I will certainly look out for SceneHD invites, seem like it could be the one!

    For hd releases you should consider that p2p releases are usually better than scene ones.

    That would be because of size restrictions in scenereleases?

    Mostly download 1080 for my 40" TV, so I havn't really seen a difference even though I've tested p2p releases.

    On the other hand with p2p I can get a 720p release with seemingly no difference in image quality, that I can't do with scene releases that are a little smaller in size.

    Bandwidth happily isn't an issue for me, (disk space is starting to be ) so 1080p is fine
