Man.....I went 2 weeks without Power back in 1998.4 days is nothing.
You go 2 weeks and the MOON becomes your best freind.
Two weeks... you bunch of babies...
I used to live in a small town where we had no power... they would put the power from six pm to eleven pm... and that was it... and not even for all of us... one night one half of the town... the other night, the other half... and so on... only sunday the whole town had power... but as I say... from six pm... to eleven pm.

I really only get an hour, and it's spotty at best.

When I was a young boy, one of my weekly tasks was to take the accumulator to the local garage for recharging. We used the accumulator to run our radio as we had no electricity at all. We lit our house with paraffin and Tilly lamps.

Well I'll admit 4 days wasn't THAT long but when you live in America and outside it is pitch black except for candles (and those with generators), then you kind of have to go to sleep with your gun tucked under the pillow. I know I did.
