Thread: Unarchived torrents take forever downloading

I use a seedbox and say I download a clip - it has a screener used in the page on the torrent site I downloaded from, a zip file of various pictures, and a video. Is there any way I could download them as one file or is this not changeable? Just site rips with lots of relatively short lengths would be a pain to download from the seedbox and much easier if I used uTorrent normally on my PC.

Are you downloading to your home pc using internet explorer instead of a FTP program? If yes, all you need to do is setup an FTP program like Filezilla. The FTP program will let you drag & drop the whole movie folder instead of selecting each file one at a time. You can actually drag & drop multiple movies (folders) at the same time...

Thank you for the tip. Will give it a try. My seedbox request username and password upon every download so I'm hoping FileZilla can do this.

Edit: It does and works a treat. Thank you very much! Now to download 200GB on a 1Mb line...ouch, ouch, ouch....Seems to get around my ISP's traffic shaping policy as it is always ~ 117kB/s.
