    there was a post yesterday on taking screenshots of video and i looked into it and bsplayer wont work for me. what exactly do i need to do?

    un check overlays in windows media player
    under preferences
    advance

    then just use the print screen (PrtSc Sys Rq) sometimes f12
    then open up paint and hit control +V to paste it

    If you have XP, you can capture screen shots from videos easily in Windows Movie Maker.

    An easier way would be to use Zoom Player as that has an in-built screen capture for any video format that it can play, and it save's the captures into any directory that you specify as the default :-)
