Kind of like CDNOW(now Amazon) used to be. Since CDNOW joined with Amazon it stinks and I can't find anything on that damn website. So what's a good website to look up an album, song or artist? Right now I use CDuniverse and it to stinks.

muchspl2 - get rid of the link to the serials in your sig. everything else is quite helpful, so please keep those, but the serials are against board rules.

This one you can also use, but it shows bootlegs as well:
    CDDB

    Or even this one:
    Roadkill

    Or:
    Sing 365

Allmusic is the best, without any doubt.

Allmusic is great, though I like amazon to find star ratings of albums to pick what I want. sometimes (also good for tracklists) but allmusic all the way.
All music uses stars too, whats the difference? [i never been to that Amazon site]

my mind was running along several lines at once when I said that, my hands were typing the sentance whilst I was thinking about other things. Which is why I made a stupid statement, haha sorry. I was meaning amazon uses star system which is at least a plus point on thier behalf.

Thanks for the help. I checked it out and I found Allmusic much more helpful than the website that I was using.
