Shirley people don't believe that everyone who turns up to those auditions gets a shot on the stage infront of the judges, they'd be there for cunting weeks if that was the case.

They must have some other people to pick out the mentals/good singers/cute kids/people with sob stories to go on stage, obviousment.

There are actually three audition rounds spread over a period of months before anyone makes it to the TV point.

Besides the fact that they videotape several performances there are also in-depth interviews to determine back story.
Given those facts it is extremely unlikely the judges(especially Simon being he's the show's producer )wouldn't know exactly what to expect.

Probably even have the camera shots planned.

Abso fucking lutely. Bet he even picked the dress the cow was wearing and made sure the make-up people did her hair in a fetchingly eccentric way. Nobody would go on the TV looking like that.

Total media exploitation and manipulation.

Oh and then that Cats woman wants to do a duet with her. Right, there's a fucking shock.

According to the press she had a little flip the other night and was running around in her bra chucking water and stuff and generally being mentalist.

I can't help feeling that they were having fun at the expense of someone who isn't entirely robust enough to handle that sort of life.

I feel the same. There were saying on the news today that she's not quite there, she was deprived of oxygen at birth or something and has had learning difficulties all her life.

Mind, if it were a good looking 19-year old running around in her bra and chucking water, they would say she's fun and outgoing and would offer her an FHM photoshoot.
