How Much Did He Have?

A man came home from work on a payday. He gave the money to his wife, she kept most and gave him back SOME. Later that evening he went out to:

• Casino #1, to enter he had to pay $50. While in there, he doubled his money. He then decided to leave, yet had to pay another $50 to exit. Then, he decided to go to
• Casino #2, just like Casino #1, paid $50 to enter, doubled inside, then paid another $50 to get out and went on to
• Casino #3, just like the Casino #1 & 2, paid $50 to enter, doubled inside, then paid another $50 to get out.

Except, when he left Casino #3, he had $0 left. The question is how much did his wife give him before he left the house.
