Viewing Photos in Order problem!!

Can someone explain a way for me to view photos in order as they are downloaded?

If i use the windows xp photoslideshow on a folder where pictures are currently being downloaded to, it doesnt update to include pictures that have already downloaded!

Any brillant solutions out there?

What if you order them in "date modified" then view?

Tried arranging by modified, but the slideshow just begins to repeat the photos that were in the folder when it began, not photos that were downloaded after it started....thanks, tho...
