    you can alternatively go to compmgt.msc and remove a drive letter to the desired drive.
    And once you want it to show up go there again and assign it again.

    Hide it .How can i use it again without modifying registry.

    Thanks for the advice Disme, TrueCrypt is the better solution for hiding sensitive info imo.
