Here is an x-bit labs configured amd 64 based ultimate gaming machine, however, over 1500 hundred

Get atleast a ATI Radeon 9500 Pro video card. (Dont get the 9600, or 9600 pro.. skip to 9700 cause 9600/Pro is claimed to be slower than the 9500/Pro models)

So, go with 9500 pro ($200), 9700 pro($250-290), and to get the best 9800 pro($350+)..

I have a 9500 pro, and personally think it's awsome. Runs any game at max settings with atleast 40 fps+ minimal really.

I must say the 9500 pro is one evil card. However, don't talk down the 9600 like its nothing.

The clock is higher in the 9600 than the 9500, for one. The 9500 pro is also hard to find these days and is a bit pricey. Both are excellent choices.
