anyone else find it strange that http://www.gnutellanews.com/ has an akonix.com ad in the top part of the main page - the title is "block kazaa limewire"

Thats a google-generated ad.

they probly dont even know about it.

what google does is look for keywords in the ad and in the site, and matches them for ads that would be relevant to the site.

The ad with the title is "block kazaa limewire" may be referring to those programs use of spyware/adware, not to block the networks they're on.
