    Error: "Norton AntiVirus was unable to scan your Instant Messenger download for infections"

    I had both windows and msn messenger installed.
    I never recieved this error until I removed 'windows' messenger from my xp pro corp machine.

    Symantec says to just disable it in options menu.

    sounds like nortons is looking for something thats no longer there...just disable it in the options
