HDBits has a great community + amazing group of internal encoders and HDTV cappers.
IMHO there is no site that can replace what HDBits has accomplished.

Why not? In fact, there aren't any places that are better but HDBits doesn't perform magic... As long as there is group of ambitious people who will want to create a mini-HDScene, it will be possible - the question is: is demand for this kind of content sufficient enough?
HD stuff is getting popular but has not replaced Xvid yet so I'd assume in few years there will be more places like HDBits.org
