i'm sure a ton of you have scratched cds that skip all the time. i fixed one of mine using toothpaste. here's what you do...

put a tiny bit of toothpaste on your finger then dab your finger on the scratch a few times. then rub the toothpaste in a circle on and around the scratch. it takes a long time but it does work. i would try it on an old piece of crap cd first though. so you can get the hang of it. it takes a long time to fix the scratch but it works! just rub until your finger gets warm and when the toothpaste starts flaking off then stop!

anyway...there's a tip for those of you annoyed with scratched cds.

Good advice. Does the brand of toothpaste make any difference ? I'm going to use Colgate!
