Best forums for Cell Phone modding / hacking / unlocking / unbranding?

Do you guys have any good forums for these topics. Basically my sister got a LG Neon Phone and I was trying to make mp3 ringtones work and I tried many different things and nothing works on this phone because it's branded and Rogers does not let you use your own ringtones. Even DRM'd files bought on another phone don't work. It says that they must be used on the original device.

My phone on the other hand is a Sony Ericcson K850i and I was able to use mp3 ringtones by simply converting them to wma or wav format and I also debranded my phone and I can sue mp3s now and anything really.

I looked for her help on this LG Neon TE365 and everyone is giving up because they can't firure out anything for it. I haven't actually found a forum dedicated to this and LG phones yet though. If anyone knows some good forums please post them here.

i used to have a lot of those forums in my old favourites but i lost them.
one thing i can tell you, 75% of those forums were spanish. i never found in other places nearly as much as in spanish sites.
if you know spanish, try googleing for it.

mostly you'll find alot of apps and solutions for symbian s60 cell phones but there are sections to deal with phones like hers...

Cool I'll check them out. Yep I came across that post and everyone says that this phone is a bitch. I spent a lot of time on it yesterday with no luck. Even ringtones she had bought on her other phone no longer work after they are put on a memory card and transferred to the new phone. I guess the only way is for an app to come out that is able to modify internal settings or debranding the phone but so far I only heard of some european firmware you can flash it with and of course you need some especial hardware to flash it.

My K850i is so damn easy to customize. And now there is free software to flash it and change anything you want. I have a bunch o kick ass flash themes on it. The only thing is that the K850i is freaking slow, I heard is due to some memory leak that Sony never bothered to fix.

I couldn't find anything for this phone. I heard that what works if you have a data plan is to use ventones.com and then use the link given to download the ringtone directly on your phone, but I haven't got this confirmed either by anyone else. I tried ventones.com and saving the ringtone to the memory card and then trying it on the phone and it won't play it. It sees it as protected but won't play it, it gives an error saying that it must be played on the original device.

I just want a method that works for using mp3 ringtones, any method. That may be converting the ringtone to another format or using a program to add DRM or using a website or anything that could work for this phone without having to buy every ringtone.
