Metropolis (1927)

EMERALD made a release of this film in 2005, which they created out of a series of DVD's, having tested a series of sources to see which were the best.

They reauthored parts of the film thus creating a completely original DVD, that cannot be purchased in stores (video quality-wise).

When TL made the iMBD top 250 rage back in '05 this was one of the movies that was upped there.

Unfortunately I was unable to leech it. Does anyone have access to this DVDR on any of their trackers, or if not did anyone here download this and can upload it to one of their trackers?

Have been searching for this particular flick for quite a while (since then basically) and have not been able to find it anywhere. I seek the EMERALD DVDR release.

Yup DVDR on demonoid. Might not be the scene release but it looks like something comparable.

This dvd version is digitally restaured and contains descriptions of the lost scenes... it also has a few really interesting extras: a small documentary about the restoration of the film.. and another documentary (quite interesting) about german expresionism and metropolis itself... worth seeing, enjoy.

There's 2 version's on Cinematik both are DvDr, but there PAL.
One Is DVD5, the other Is DVD9.
