Sex Doctor On A Kids Show?

I went to a friends place a month ago, and he was watching a kids show because it was the only TV station he got. He pointed out that Dr. Ruth (A famouse 70+ year old sex doctor) had her own segment on this show. I thought that was funny and strange, but I ignored it. (Her segment wasn't about sex though)

There is a segment called Gwaine's Word, that has a theme song that EXACTLY like Wayne's World. Including the title bouncing around the screen. Waynes World is so old that no kid is going to understand the parody.

The father lion (The show is about a family of lions), is a total hippie.

And there is a bunch of jokes that would go over kid's heads.

Yesterday I found out the best part. The name of the show is 'Between the Lions', sounds like "Between the Lines." Coincidence? I think not.

Am I the only one that thinks this is strange?
