Thread: Nav 2003 Problems!

  1. #1
When i try to scan my computert for viruses, it always starts ok, but after a little while it makes my computer freeze!!! And when i reboot my computer, it dosent start without the boot cd. I always have to reinstal my bios so that the computer will start working normaly again.

And when i try to do live update it updates everything, but not "Symantec Common Client Updates".

Any ideas what i should do, or how i can fix this problem?

And is there any other antiwirus programs that r better or as good as norton?

    Thanx

what are you running it on? NAV is notorious for bein a resource hog (i got a 120 gig hd, 2gig processor and 256 meg sdram, and it bogs my cpu down)

    I am on XP pro
    My computer is:

    Pentium 4 2.8 ghz
    1 GB ddr ram
    1: 20gb hd
    2: 120 gb hd
and the rest of the computer is good to, so the computer shouldnt be a problem!!!

thaks SH, (and the pm too, if i can ever return favor i'll sure as hell try)
about your NAV not updating some features DVD, check your NAV config, or your update config, i think all that is accessable from NAVs welcome screen
i'll go through mine real quick to see if i can find out anything, if i do i'll post it back here
