    why do cd-rw's not play in an ordinary cd player ?

    because most regular cd players cant read a cd-rw, u have to get a spectial one that can

    I have no problem with that at all i have cd players that don't say you can play cd-r and cd-rw s but they play fine mabe i have a good cd burner or something

    Make sure you have only one session, and thet you closed the session. Ordinary cd players can't handle multi-session cd's, and some cd burning software opens a new session by default if you use cd-rw. If you've got a good cd burner and good software you should be able to remove the second session header and close the cd properly.
