DHT disabled, PE and LPD inactive...

Hi everybody!

I'm new to this forum, so I apologise if I'm posting in the incorrect area!

My problem is this: up until a few days ago, I had never had any problems with utorrent (I'm using the latest version, 1.8.2). Then, a few nights ago, I put on my utorrent and went to bed, like I always do, only to discover that no downloading or uploading had taken place the following morning.

I played around with some of the more obvious functions, and found the following new changes:

[DHT] = disabled
[Local Peer Discovery] = inactive
[Peer Exchange] = inactive

Also, there doesn't seem to be any activity on the "real" (PirateBay) trackers at all...

All of the above were said to be "working" in the past.

Any ideas? Guys, if you reply (which I would really appreciate, please be practical about you advice - I'm actually quite illiterate when it comes to these things, unlike most of you!

you should enable DHT if you use to download from public trackers (even if it's definitely not the reason of your problem).
maybe a port issue... did you checked if your port was properly forwarded ? (Options > Speed Guide)
