Thread: For Those Who Are Bored...

  1. #1
This is an interesting webpage i've found during my internet travels last night.

It's a long read, and could take you anything up to an hour or so to read through it all.

Quite creepy in places, and i enjoyed it.

Be warned - not for the claustrophobic as it is a journal of a guy called Ted's caving experience and what he and his caving partner found, or didn't find.

I'll leave you to make up your own mind.

Here's two links, in case one of them is down.
    Ted's Caving Page
    Ted's Caving Page Backup

don't knock it before you've read it. It's a small hole the guys had to widen to get access to a "virgin cave".

    jeez.

    Yes.....we have them also.

But we have one called the Wild Cave Tour.Elevation change is 300 feet.....Free-climbing cave walls.....lengthy crawls through areas as tight as 9 inches high.....walking in a crouched position.....hand and knee crawls over jagged rocks and dirt.....crawling through wet areas.....twisting into and out of tight crawlway openings.

I have done it a couple of times.....it takes about 6 hours and covers over 5 Miles.

Don't think i can manage reading English for that long.
Can't you translate it to Dutch, since you do seem to have a lot time on your hands?
